Hope House Day Care Center Inc. is a nonprofit that provides social services for individuals affected by HIV and poverty. This Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data, including how we collect, use, and process your data, when you visit our website, inquire about services or receive/send text messages to Hope House staff. In doing so, we comply with our legal obligations, as your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting and safeguarding your data privacy rights. This Privacy Policy applies to Hope House Day Care Center Inc. The last update on February 10, 2025, to provide additional disclosures about the collection, use, and sharing of information.

i. Personal Information. In this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, your name, physical address, email address and telephone number.

ii. Personal Information Provided by You. When you inquire about our service, make a referral, or request information, we may collect information from you verbally or through forms you fill out, including but not limited to your name, address, and contact information, such as email address, and phone number. Hope House utilizes this information to inform us of the services that are needed and to make appropriate referrals and admissions for services. Hope House follows all HIPAA laws and regulations for data compliance and storage and will not provide any information to outside parties without signed consent. Hope House also keep all client data in SMS opt-in details or phone number collected for SMS purposes will not be shared.

iii. SMS Terms and Conditions. Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties. If you have consented to receive text messages you may receive text messages related to internal communication with employees regarding their schedules, appointments and anything related to clients.

iv. User Rights. Clients have the right to access their information at any time and can opt out of communication and terminate services at any time. Clients are informed during admission how to file a grievance, how to opt out of communications and how to get help.  Any questions or concerns about this privacy policy can be directed to ldwarren@hopehousememphis.org
